Is there an Ignore function in this forum?

I'm a pre-LLer doing my research here, and while I find many threads very useful, my research efforts often get distracted by a guy who posts annoying comments, and I would get much more done if I didn't have to read or even see his posts.  If his comments contained useful information, then I would be fine, but I find nothing useful about his comments at all.  I get really frustrated actually.  So I'm asking is there a way to ignore posts from people you don't want to hear from, like they do in many chatroomss?  If not, could we set that up somehow?  Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm still new here.

You can ignore them by not reading them.

As sayed above, try ignoring the posts.

However, if someone is systematically spamming your topics, maybe you could report him to an admin ? (with evidence ofcourse).
